Grade 15 squad 2012Round 4 - South Coast Wolves. After a slow start to the season the 15's managed to field an injury free squad for the Anzac Day clash with South Coast. It was evident from the start that United were ready to play. They defended well and kept their composure while in posession of the ball. Half time score was 1:0 United courtesy of a goal by Eren Aktas. After the break , Sydney United upped the tempo attacking through the middle and bagged a further four goals, one each to Daniel Kocina, Bryce Dolinschak, Alex Abdullah and Liam Gray. Full time score Sydney United 5:0 South Coast Wolves. 
Photos by Loopii Nike Manchester Cup Congratulations to the Sydney United grade 15 boys on making the Final of the Manchester Cup. The run to the final started on Monday night with a 1:0 win over Wollongong Wolves. The next game was played on Tuesday night against a highly fancied Sydney Olympic where our boys were leading 1:0 until the last 3 minutes when Olympic were awarded a penalty and converted for a 1:1 full time draw. United were the victors after the penalty shootout. Thursday night semi final with Blacktown City was an extremly tough game with both teams playing some very exciting football. Sydney United won the game in regular time 1:0 The other semi final was a 2:0 victory to Manly United over the Marconi Stallions. The final was a very hard game with both teams having played their semi final the same evening. The regular time score was 0:0 and unfortunately our boys went down in the penalty shoot-out. Congratulations to the Sydeny United 15's players and coaches for a great tournament, you did us all proud. Congratulations to Manly and good luck in the upcoming games for the rest of the tournament.
