Three generations of Sydney United 
At the recent FFA State institute challange, Sydney United Under 13's goalkeeper Lachlan Doohan was keen to have a photo taken with two former United legends Ron Corry and Robbie Slater who were happy to oblige. A true club man, Lachlans dedication to training is exceptional. Not only for his 100% attendance record, but the fact he lives in Bywong near Canberra, making the trip to training a 2.5 hour drive each way. Lachlan represented the ACT under 13's at the recent National titles held at Coffs Harbour where he played alongside Luka Kmet, another Sydney United under 13's player currently living in Canberra. Zeljko "Spider" Kalac joins the coaching staff at Sydney United Regarded as one of Australias premier goalkeepers in his time, Kalac's resume is an impressive one . Starting his professional career at Sydney United, he went on to play for Roda in the Netherlands, Leicester City, Perugia, AC Milan and finishing his playing career at Greek side Kavala. During the course of his career he has made more then 50 appearences for the Socceroos.
